Edge Land Planning is a planning consultancy established to provide advice to
Government, Industry and Community Groups on all facets of rural and metropolitan fringe
planning. The range of issues addressed includes rural and urban land use issues as well
as public policy, community economic development, strategic planning, facilitation,
research and community consultation as well as advice on development applications and
rezonings.
Planning for rural land has become an emerging issue facing rural Australia.
There is a need for a specialist consultancy which can provide quality, accurate and
timely advice to those who manage rural land or who earn their living from the land. This
advice needs to be delivered by a Consultancy that is based on the rural fringe of Sydney
and whose principal has worked exclusively as a town planner in rural NSW.
